Asians Are Not Allowed?!

I had been mentioning ciao in my previous blog entries and even wrote one article featuring ciao alone, that obviously mean, I like making money with ciao. But a lot of Asians were experiencing some log in problems in ciao starting early this April unlike non-Asian members who have been smoothly accessing the site. And it's been weeks now since I was able to check my account in ciao, I can't actually access the site, it always give me this "bad request" message box whenever I tried logging in the site. Oh my, what's the matter?! So I searched for discussions regarding ciao's current situation and found out in one of the discussions in myLot that they suspended all Asian members because of cheating, plagiarizing and spamming. I assume this is just a rumor since no official announcement from ciao had been released when the rumor started spreading. Although I must say, there are really a lot of spammers there but generalizing all Asian is, I think, not at all a fair thing. As much as there are spammers and cheaters around the site, I think it's still safe to say that there are also a good number of sincere, true and excellent reviewers, Asians and non-Asians.

Anyway, I just notice a number of money making sites are now closing down for Asians and it's so unfair to always associate Asians as spammers and cribbers -- really stereotyping the people! I believe, not all Asians are spammers and not all Non-Asians are honest to their work in ciao or whatever money making site there is! Blocking members should not be sorted basing on where the member resided or from what continent he/she belongs. That's not just a fair move. I am actually in favor of suspending accounts of plagiarists to maintain the quality and reliability of the site. I was many times a victim of cribbers there, republishing my own reviews and those cribbers really earn from it, shameless and selfish members, aren't they?! And because of those times I caught some members republishing my reviews and owning it as if those reviews were there's, I even publish an article in ciao itself trying to broadcast the unfair activities of those plagiarists and cheaters and it gained good responses of ciao members who happen to read it. I really want them to get banned, and now it is just so funny, really funny, as my account is suspended as well! Why? Because I am Asian?! Does being Asian a hindrance to join sites to earn money now?! Is it fair to generalize Asians?! This is not the first time I knew of a site banning Asian members, there are several actually! Are Asians really spammers?! Is it justifiable to label ALL Asian as cheaters in the world of online money making?! Oh well, I am just a member and can't do anything about it!

And to the spammers and cribbers in ciao, hope this becomes a wake up call to all of you! Don't involve us in all your mess. Please learn to work fairly to avoid having such mass account suspension where some people are trying to work seriously.

Anyway, after weeks of assumption that Asians are banned, atlas, ciao admin released an announcement regarding the log in problem encountered by Asian members and it says:

Dear members,

Due to the high level of abuse on the site including plagiarism, spamming of members, and revenge ratings, Ciao.com has decided to start restricting membership to certain countries. We have tried to avoid this outcome, but the number of violations has become too great. Although we realize not all members from the now-banned countries were responsible for these problems, and in fact there were many excellent members from these regions, we have found this to be the best and only remaining way to effectively manage the situation.

Members from these banned countries who are otherwise in good standing will still receive any money owed to them. If they have yet to make a payment request, they can contact us at info@ciao.com and we will make the request for them.

We will continue to delete plagiarized and abusive content from the site; please send us abuse reports if you find evidence of a violation of our Terms and Conditions.

Thank you.

– The Ciao Community Team
So I guess I have to accept that the rumor spreading around is now a fact! But if we all notice, they haven't specified the banned countries and I assume again, if one can't log in the site, one is more likely banned. I am from Philippines and can't access the site. I sent a ticket to ciao admin asking for an official list of countries they suspended and they replied, Philippines is currently banned but since they noticed a good number of excellent reviewers from our country, they are yet to review and find any alternative for Philippines-situated members to join their consumers community again.

I know ciao have to protect their site so I am still wishing the best for ciao and hoping against hope that they'll re-open their site for members who have been really honestly writing there.

Gomez Peer: turn your PC into a money-making machine?!

Gomez Peer -- earn money while staying online! As long as you're connected online, you can earn money for doing nothing, though not really big! Still, so effortless way to make money especially to those with unlimited internet connection at home, isn't it?

I heard of this money making site many times while searching for different means to earn some bucks online and in fairness, majority of the reviews I read are positive though there are few who were saying that Gomez Peer don't pay. I had seen some proof of payments as well from reliable "online" friends so I guess by that time, my doubt lowered! hehe.. No questions at all as to whether they pay or not BUT a question arises again in my mind in regards to how Gomez Peer works. As I mentioned earlier, we just need to stay online to generate income from Gomez Peer and so for them to monitor it, they have this java-based software for us to install in our computer/s.. hmmm.. Isn't it risky for our computer system?! That I don't know.. Although so far, I haven't read any extreme negative feedbacks like computer admin information hacked or whatsoever, or bad computer performance while using Gomez Peer, etc.. But what do you think of this? Actually they are doing this for the main purpose of measuring the real-world performance of websites by collecting and computing the horsepower of thousands of PCs that have Gomez Peer application installed in it. So do you think it is a safe move to install software like this one? whatcha think?!

Anyway, for interested online users here are some minimum requirements to join

OS: Windows XP, NT, 2000 or 2003
Processor: Pentium 3 or better
RAM: atleast 128 mb
Hard Disk Space (needed for installation): 40 mb
Internet Connection: dial-up, DSL, Cable, Satellite or ISDN connection

mode of payment: paypal

for more information on how Gomez Peer works, you can check their site!

warning: according to many Gomez Peer members, it's kind of hard to be approved in their site, its somewhat like a long wait! :)

what's the real score with SOP?

it has been a month since i last visited sizeofpaper and joined some discussions there.. to those who don't know sizeofpaper, again it is an online forum site that pays their members by starting discussions or responding to the discussions.. and just when i remembered checking my account, i find it hard to access SOP now.. actually all that appears when i hit the enter key in my keyboard after typing "sizeofpaper.com" is nothing but firefox's common "Adress Not Found" page.. i really don't know what's happening to the site and later i found out while reading in other forum sites that, SOP had shut down! oh my, what happened?! doing some further readings about SOP, i was saddened to read some comments saying SOP is just among those good-sites-turned-scams.. so many thoughts from different SOP members and non-members were shared in different forum sites like myLot.. i don't know what to believe now but i swear, they really paid their members before, i don't know the present and the future! hehe.. anyway, searching more about the case of SOP at present, i finally found out SOP is not at all working now and all the members were merged to online money making forums which is obviously another forum site where members can earn.. i tried logging in to the latter site and surprise, my account used in SOP can be use in online money making forums.. but now, honestly i have this second thoughts of joining the site again and reviving the "discussion writing" and "opinion sharing " i used to do with SOP before..

what's really the REAL score with SOP now?

amazon mechanical turk

screen shots credit to amazon mturk

atleast 150 US dollars a month doing some easy tasks in mturk -- that's what i read in some discussions in forum sites. i'm wondering if anybody here in the blogosphere have joined mturk.com? i'm just new in the site and i still haven't read their support to understand how it exactly works and what to do to earn.. haha.. although from overview, i know we have to complete what they call HITS and just have to follow the instructions of the hit/s we wish to take to complete it and see if the requester approves our work.. anyway, i checked my mturk account just now after weeks of registering an account since i'm doing some things offline and got a bit of loads to do and haven't got a chance to access the net for quite some time.. back to mturk, i know it's a reliable site and it is one of the "talk of the site" specifically in myLot.. it is run by Amazon.com which i must say one of the most common and well-established online store world and web wide.. anyway, as i mentioned, i read some discussions of some online money makers who made atleast 150 something US dollars with mturk in a month and that what attracted me to join the site.. hehe.. mturk or formally called Amazon Mechanical Turk is still in its beta status, meaning, they are still in the "testing" stage in the development of this online money making site and still yet to see if running such site is good or not for both Amazon company and it's members.. but they surely pays even if they're still beta and i think their mode of payment is through cheques.. so just wondering if any of you, bloggers, have tried this one, so how was it?

ciao paid me for doing nothing

its surprising and funny how i reach the minimum payout in ciao.. i've been away from the site as i feel so lazy writing some reviews considering their new incentives now, no-sure earning for each review, and reviews must be rated to earn and it is hard to compete with really good reviewers there so i find it tough to make money in ciao these days.. i haven't written any review, not even one and i haven't even rated any review but good thing is i open my account last day of january and checked my account there after more-than-a-month long of absence in the site.. surprise! i reached the payout for doing nothing! i requested it, of course! it is just a small bucks though, but knowing i didn't do anything, it is already something for me.. it's a plain earning unlike my earning with ciao last year.. thanks to the ciao-ers, they rated my very old reviews.. anyway, just the other day, i already received the payment.. again, thanks ciao and ciao-ers!

hang-out in forum sites and earn!

(proof of payment included!)

to those who are interested in forum discussions for pastime, you can join myLot
or sizeofpaper. as what i have mentioned in my online money making post, it gives incentives or we like to call it "bonus" when you join discussions -- whether you start a discussion or you respond to a discussion started by other members. as for myLot, their least payout is $10 and for sizeofpaper $20. just have fun, feed your mind with random discussions, share your views and be financially productive in joining such site. although i can't guarantee a fast earning there but if you have the effort, you'll probably make the payout within a month with no referrals (but of course you can invite referrals too). as the common idiom says, you reap what you sow. many users are requesting their payment every month! so instead of surfing the net for nothing, updating regularly your social networking profile and accounts, why not try these sites, right? at least, you're earning! proof of payments below!

ciao: a sure paying review site

(edited for more information, proof of payment included!)

as you have read my
online money making post, i republish it there my self-written article about online money making. i have also mentioned that i originally issued that one in ciao, a review site that pays. and somebody posted a comment asking how true is it that ciao pays. so i guess it would be better to place a proof of ciao payment here. i actually received this one last December for my November activities when they still pay the members $1-then-became-$.25 sure payment every review you've written. but now they have changed their incentives again but talking on how legit this site is, i must say this is a real proven paying site. the active you are in this site, the better! i am not so active then so i just deserve the price.. lol!

anyway, for those who consider joining ciao, what you have to do is search for any product you want to review, there's load of products there, anything you want to share, you can do it just be sure you are writing at the right topic. as for the earning program they have AT THE PRESENT, your reviews should be rated and each rate has corresponding amount. i would say the incentives they have now is not-so-good as compared before when each product review written has sure payment.. now, your earnings will depend on the ratings but they also have this incentives for top-rated reviews. for more of the incentives, just read here. ciao has changed their incentives for, i guess, 2 times now.

online money making

warning: this is a long post but please just keep reading, I NEED YOUR HELPFUL IDEAS!

i'm kind of surprised whenever some members in ciao, an online review site i joined send me private messages asking for help on how to make money online. well, i'm not claiming i'm a good online earner, i'm definitely not, not yet! lol! how i wish i am! but because of these newbies in online money making asking for any tips on what sites to join and what to do, i published this one in ciao community itself and was happy as well because there are those who appreciated what i have written.

i decided to republish this one here in my blog to ask you fellow bloggers on any other means to earn online aside from what i have written. i am kindly asking all of you to add any tips for the sake of all of us! hopefully you share a LEGIT, SURE-PAYING SITE!

please, i have one rule on what money making sites you can share with us, ONLY SITES THAT DO NOT ASK MEMBERS TO PAY JUST TO BE PAID! anyway, below is what i have already published in ciao..

I know home business does not necessarily mean online money making, this could also mean a small store you manage in your house and the like. But now, I want to limit this post to online earning alone based on my own online money making journey.

I started making money online last year through BLOGGING. It's not that easy to start monetizing a blog. It's not easy as one two three especially when you are just a beginner in the blogosphere. For example, at this very moment you decided to create a blog and eventually you posted your first blog entry, you can't immediately join paid-to-blog or paid-to-post sites then. Anyway, paid-to-blog or paid-to-post I mentioned are those sites that link advertisers and bloggers. There are advertisers who look for bloggers who are willing to write something about their website, their product or services and in return they pay the bloggers for that. To join sites like this one, say payperpost, sponsoredreviews, smorty, blogsvertise, we need to meet their requirements first before our blog will be approved.
Usual requirements include the longevity of the existence of your blog (usually atleast 3 months), well-updated blog (with a blog post atleast every week), good traffic, and the not-so-easy to earn Page Rank! If you have all these qualifications, then you can start joining paid-to-blogs then. But anyway, there are still other ways to monetize your blog like the very common adsense or bidvertiser. It may be easy to register for an adsense account but earning through it is really hard and I guess a matter of luck! It's just like you're waiting for somebody to click the ads in your blog so you can earn cents. It's easy but difficult. Easy because you don't do anything, you just have to insert the html code of adsense in your blog and that will only take you not more than 30 seconds to do! But well, it's hard because not everybody who visits your blog will have the initiative to click your ads! But oopps, you can't ask them to click your ads, it's a NO NO and you can't click your own ads as ell, that's against the TOS and a big violation that will possibly cause a suspension of your account! Google can trace adsense cheaters and if you ask me how, well, I don't know, it's Google's secret! haha. Aside from paid-to-blog and adsense (bidvertiser, etc.), text links are also "in" in the blogosphere. With text links, advertisers will make a deal with you so they could post their link in your blog roll may be and you will be paid monthly or annually. I don't know exactly how to join that, in my case, advertisers just happen to visit my blog and and left a comment in one of my entries and from there, we communicated and made a deal! hehe.

Too much said on blogging, so let's jump to another means to earn online and this time, the REVIEW SITES like ciao! Actually at first, Ciao is kind of complicated. I heard of this one few months ago but can't understand how it works so I ignored it. What a slow-minded me! Anyway, now I get it, we just have to review products, we need to have an honest review that we hope can help the consumers and possible buyers of a certain product. Our voice, our views from our own experiences using a certain product can help others decide whether or not to purchase the product. Simply speaking, we make an ease to the consumers to decide! So I guess, it's really important to make a good quality review and of course an honest one because our reviews might affect the purchasing activity of the people who happen to read our so called "based on experiences" reviews. Other review sites that pays include reviewstream and compared by us.

The third one I'll introduce is the discussions and forums that allow us to participate in discussions whether we start a discussion, we respond to others' discussion or we comment back on some responses, sometimes we call it PAID-TO-POST. When we join some sites like this one knowing the fact that it pays, we tend to focus ourselves to earn money. We don't care to post something stupid, something senseless, something out of this world topics just to earn cents. I have joined such kind of community, yes, it pays, not that much but guaranteed real paying site! But actually after a year of being a member in such community, I tend to look at it more of a "mind-feeding" community where we share senseless discussions to discussions with real substance, and not just a money making site! But well, I can say there are really so many members there that join for money and it's one of their online money making! Example of this site is myLot and size of paper.

Another way to earn online is ONLINE PUBLISHING where we can submit our self-written original articles, essays, poems, and any other kinds of literature in sites like Associated Content, Triond, Helium. But again, it's also not that easy. You have to write something, let the site approve it and let other members read and rate it. If you are good in driving visitors to your articles, then it would be a good way to earn money online for you. And of course, if you are fond of writing then you can try your luck there! I've joined AC and Triond before but seems I'm getting lazy to write articles. As much as I want to have something to post, my mind just get empty. So it would be better if you really have the passion to write. hehe. But those sites surely pays! Before you get paid, you have to put on your effort first and reach their payout.

And the last and yes, the least way to make money online that I'll be sharing is the PAID-TO-CLICK sites or simply called PTC sites. You read it right, i consider PTC site as the least of all the means to make money online. Why? Because it's the "lamest", you only have to click ads, view it for 30 seconds and you're paid for it! Before, I noticed many were infected with the PTC mania and yes, I am one of them! haha. I joined some PTC sites, earned from them and got paid. Until one day most of the PTC sites are turning scams, and if not scams, they got bankrupt which have not enable them to pay the members who have requested the payout. PTC sites are booming these days, and since a lot of online money earners are attracted in joining PTC sites to earn FEW bucks, I think the abusers, the online thefts use the idea of PTC sites to fraud the people. They create their own PTC sites for the sole purpose of scamming the people. So I advice the people not to join PTC sites without knowing the real color of those sites. The number of scam PTC sites are more than the real paying ones. Proven real PTC sites may include neobux, clixsense, clixncash, and a few others.. But PTC sites got lots of uncertainties and it's not always an assurance that they will last long. And one more advice, PTC sites tend to attract the members to invest for referrals or membership upgrade to have faster and real good earnings. But investing is quite risky too. I have invested to some sites and got real good earnings, but to some, it's not at all worth to invest a single cent. As I said, so many uncertainties, really unpredictable results, and a lot risky!

Actually there are still so many ways to make money online like the survey thingy offered by dNeero, etc. But this I have to say, most reliable sites to earn need real effort and time to make real good money. So let's grab the opportunities to be financially productive that the internet have given us but let's all be responsible in all our online activities, let us not abuse the chances given to us by online companies! Let us all work fairly!

so what other sites you can share where we can earn online? all tips will be really well-appreciated! =)
